Your Recovery at a Glance
Every procedure is different, and your downloadable packet is the authority on your specific plan. In general, these principles support a safe and steady recovery:
Care For Your Incision
Keep the surgical site clean and dry. Follow the dressing instructions in your packet and watch for any changes as it heals.
Move – But Gently
Short, frequent walks support circulation and recovery. Avoid bending, lifting, and twisting beyond the limits your surgeon set.
Manage Discomfort
Take medications exactly as prescribed. Ice, rest, and good posture help control normal post-surgical soreness.
Keep Your Follow-Up Appointments
Your follow-up visit lets Dr. Ortega track your healing and clear you for the next stage of activity. Don’t skip it.
